Reliable tree maintenance in Campbelltown
Tell your council
Unless you just want dead branches removed, it's safe to say that your local council will require you to obtain its approval before starting work on your tree. So if your tree needs trimming, you want its canopy raised, you're concerned about its health, or you have safety concerns, it's very likely that you'll need to contact your council.
Interestingly, not all councils agree on what constitutes a ‘tree’. Liverpool, Campbelltown, and Penrith councils, for instance, actually disagree on the definition. Each one has different rules and regulations governing the trees under their jurisdiction as well as different application processes to gain approval to work on them. Some councils may charge a non-refundable fee for processing an application while others might have a list of “undesirable” trees for their area. If the tree you want to work on is on that list, you can be sure that the council will approve your request speedily.
How we can help?
It makes sense to use the services of an experienced tree maintenance team that can act on your behalf in gaining council approval, or at least give you advice on whether the tree in question is worth the effort of making an application and/or commissioning a report.
If you’d like to get in contact with Arbor Barber Tree Services, then any information you can give us on the tree in question can be an advantage. Let us know:
- Why you require work done to your tree
- The species, if known (not essential)
- Your council area, or the suburb in which you live
Our experts can arrange the rest, including lodgement of the application if required. We're happy to provide you with a free quote, but our Level 4 arborist requires a small fee for his consultation services and for a written report. These fees will later on be deducted from our quoted price to do the work.
Council approval is essential as it protects us all from hefty fines. Don't let anyone tell you any different and employ the experts for all your tree services in greater Sydney.
